Empowering Youth for Change is a program designed to assist our inner city youth with social skills that will ultimately assist them in day to day interactions at school, home, work and community activities.

BELIEF

(Better Education Leading to an Innovative Entrepreneurial Future)

BELIEF  is a program divided into stages.

1) It is designed to empower youth with professional training, interview skills, resume building and career development.

2) Provide the tools and support to encourage youth to explore entrepreneurial opportunities.

  It has been a remarkable rebuilding process; however, we have not forgotten. Many of us are still coping with issues resulting from hurricane Katrina & we are here to listen, help and care.

• Weathering the Storm (Peer Support Counseling) 

Weathering the Storm is a program designed to assist youth and families through their most difficult times by incorporating group and interactive coaching. Each class is age specific; therefore, doll therapy, journalism, art and life coaching are all options.  

• A Place for Us  (After School Program)

 A productive and creative alternative to the streets, computers, alternative sports, video games, tutoring, snacks and transportation.

• The Next Great Generation (Internships for youth)

Offering young people the opportunity to develop professional skills, work in various large fortune 500 companies, organizations and institutions.

• Setep (Summer Camp)

Giving young people the experience of teamwork through collaborating in summer events and activities. Field trips, urban gardens and more...
